Chris Kirubi, Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga And A Few Other Super Rich Kenyans Now Control 4.2 Trillion Of Kenya’s 6.2 Trillion Economy

A report compiled by New World Wealth, an independent South Africa-based research firm that conducted the survey, has indicated that Kenya’s a few super rich now control two thirds of our Kes 6.2 trillion economy.

Chris Kirubi, Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta who are among the few super rich Kenyans, have a combined net worth of Kes 100 billion.

The report says 8,500 of Kenya’s 45 million population  control two thirds of Kenya’s 6.2 trillion economy.

The 8,500 super rich Kenyans have combined net assets to Kes 4.24 trillion, meaning the remaining 2 trillion is what 99% of Kenyans contribute to the economy.

The research firm expects the number of dollar millionaires in Kenya to continue growing hitting 15,300 in the next decade.
