The staggering rate at which Diamond Platnumz is releasing new songs has fascinated many people who wonder what he is up to.
So far the Wasafi boss has released three songs in a row in less than a month – with his biggest hit being ‘Yatapita’ which is the dopest banger everywhere.
Diamond Platnumz has praised his fans for showing him great love in his three songs (Yatapita, Zuwena and My Baby) that he released in a row less than a month ago.
Platnumz said that it is not easy for an artiste to release songs in a row and stay silent and push them through his social networks to reach fans.
“Inahitaji nguvu, Baraka, upendo mkubwa na sapoti kubwa kutoka kwa watu kutoa wimbo na kukaa siku tatu haujapakia kwenye mitandao wala kufanya challenge mbele ili kusukuma wimbo huo lakini bado ukakubalika, halafu kila siku wimbo ukazidi kufanya vyema,” Diamond said.
“Hakika mashabiki wangu mnanipa faraja sana, nyinyi ni Zaidi ya mashabiki kwangu. Nyinyi ni familia yangu na nawashukuru kwa sapoti yenu, upendo na jema mlitendalo kwangu. Vyote naviona na niwaambie mashine nyingine iko njiani. Kama nilivyowaahidi, huu ni mwaka wa vyuma juu ya nonda,” he added.
The Wasafi boss has been dropping song after song in the past two weeks, which has made some fans and music stakeholders feel that someone had wronged him and wants to take revenge by releasing a series of heavy hits.
Less than two weeks ago, Diamond released three songs including, Yatapita, Zuwena and My Baby and now he has announced to release the fourth.
Earlier this week his manager Babu Tale revealed that Zuwena’s song was written four years ago and also revealed that there are two other songs that will be released soon which were written by the artist seven years ago.
