Of late Willy Paul has been slamming fellow musicians whom he blames for the sorry state of the Kenyan music industry.
The singer, in his latest hard-hitting message to fellow musicians, asked them to go slow on chasing clout and put more effort toward work.
“My prayers for the Kenyan music industry. More work less clout! Very soon you’ll remember these words. Amen,” Willy Paul wrote.
A few days earlier Willy Paul slammed fellow musicians claiming that they were just waiting for him to do something before they all jump on the same trend, copying all of his music moves.

Without naming names, Pozee angrily slammed some musicians for being copycats.
“Everybody wants to be like me! They’re all copying what I do,” Willy Paul wrote in part.
“Right now they’re all waiting for me to drop that jam of the year ndio wajue kama watatoa. Well toeni tu coz this nigga atatoa akijiskia!” He added.
The singer also took a swipe at underperforming artistes whom he blamed for the sorry state of Kenyan music.
He blamed event organizers for booking ‘people with no talent’, lamenting that musicians with talents are being overlooked in favor of mediocre artistes.
