Don’t confuse the hype! Otile Brown hisses at Nick Mutuma

Otile Brown has responded to the little drama going on between himself, actor Nick Mutuma, Kenyans and the whole of East and Central Africa population.

“Don’t confuse hype with being global my friend,” he hissed.

It’s easy to get caught up in the drama of ‘celebrity’ ‘feuds’, but sometimes it’s important to take a step back and remember that it’s all just for entertainment.

After all, who really cares about whose team you are, Otile Brown or Nick Mutuma? Or from which part of the mentioned countries you are from?

At the end of the day, they’re both just people with feelings and opinions – and they probably don’t care as much about their ‘feud’ as we do.

Otile Brown has already joined the Golden Club after hitting 100 Million plus streams on Boomplay.

It’s a music/media streaming and download service with over 85 Million songs across different genres like Pop, Rock, Afrobeats, Afropop, Reggae, Bongo Flava, Gengetone e.t.c from top artists across the world.

 

Saw Nick Mutuma saying Swahili community is about 70 Million and so, we don’t need the world and I’m like why are we even having this conversation then?

Why are y’all comparing us then coz if that’s the case then we’re doing just fine!

Why talk ish like we ain’t doing enough?Coz if we’re talking global, then we’re talking O2 arena typa ish! Ain’t talking Swahili community, and 2 or 3 African countries that messes with our music.

And I rest my case, don’t get it twisted I love, respect Swahili and I believe in it and I will give more music in Swahili. And this conversation it’s for the entire East and Central African, not Kenya alone, you’ve been programmed kuwekea Kenya lawama. If talking global, then it’s the whole of East, we got work to do.

Otile Brown’s United States of America Tour

Otile Brown has been performing in the USA since, 27th August this year.

He has performed in Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Atlanta, Minneapolis, New Jersey, Washington D.C among other places.

He thanked his fans and the team that made it possible for OB to tour America.
