Wyre is the arguably the King of dancehall and reggae in Kenya right now, I mean where do I start, he has done collabo with headliners from left to right and shared stages with the A listers of the Entertainment realm globally. Again, where do I start?

We all came to know Wyre from the then group, Necessay Noize which by then had three members; Bamzigi (The African Superman), Nazizi and himself where his vocals always stood out and he got recognized easily and helped the group reach greater heights. Now, the group Necessary Noize is still there but it only has two members; Nazizi(the First lady) and Wyre and these two were the headliners at the just concluded Hip Hop HookUp, an event where all not only Hip Hop lovers meet but even reggae artiste meet and this time it was hosted by rappers; Smallz Lethal and Nafsi Huru.

Just to name but a few, he has a collabo with international reggae group, Morgan Heritage, dancehall artiste Cecille and reggae and Dancehall artiste Alaine. To top it all up, he can even represent in Hip Hop, Rap and Kapuka. Tell me who has all these traits!?

Moving on…

When Wyre took to the stage, all crowd went wild and the screams of the ladies in the Sarakasi Dome was eveident to this as they shouted his name in unison, this just stirred up the fire Wyre had. He took the stage with such force and confidence that made every single person in the dome acknowledge him but without warning, the Dj’s equipment went dead and everybody thought the performance by Wyre was over, but not the Love Child, he continued to perform but only this time he perfomed by the help of a guitarist and performed his hit song by Jamaican female reggae sensational, Alaine, ‘Nakupenda Pia’ , Chuki and many other song in acoustic and still managed to put the crowd in frenzy while they are singing to his songs.

Now tell me, is this not the true definition of a true artiste, an artiste that can still entertain even if the equipment goes dead. Artistes that can perform in acoustic beat but still feel as if he’s performing with the help of a Dj’s vinyl are hard to find but you can find that in Wyre the Love Child.

We salute you Wyre

I love everybody who loves everybody, somebody got to love somebody at some point.
Music is something that comes natural to everybody and it's a language that everybody can understand, I understand it and that's why I speak it
fluently, do you.
