Zuchu’s mother Khadija Kopa has revealed that since she announced that she was looking for a husband she has only attracted gigolos who are seducing her night and day.
Speaking on Wasafi FM’s Masham Sham show, Kopa revealed that most of the time she ends up being seduced by young men, something she does not want because she is an adult and is looking for an adult.
The veteran Taarab singer said that the reason why she does not want young men to seduce her is due to the fact that they do not have true love but are looking for rich older women to exploit them financially.
“Bado sijapata, wanatokezea lakini sitaki vijana mimi. Mungu hajanijaalia kupata mwanamume mtu mzima sijui kwa nini. Mimi sitaki vijana kabisa. Wengi wamekuja ni vijana vijana, umri mdogo, wanapenda mserereko na umaarufu. Haya mambo siyataki, natafuta mtu mzima,” she said.
When asked how she responds to young men when they seduce her, Zuchu’s mother said she turns them down and dismisses them immediately
“Nawaambia wewe mtoto mdogo kwangu haufai kwangu mimi, nenda kawatafute vijana wenzako. Wengine wananifuata DM wengine wananifuata kabisa ana kwa ana na kuniambia wananipenda lakini nawakataa.”
Khadija Kopa, who is estimated to be over 60 years old, said that the young men of this generation are not afraid to seduce women who are even their grandmother’sd agemates.
“Watoto wa siku hizi hawaogopi, wamejivisha mabomu wakalipukie mbele kwa mbele. Wanatafuta maisha tu kwa watu wazima wakati sisi tunatafuta mapenzi,” she said.
Zuchu’s mother added that she is looking for a man who is 49 years and above.
