Engineer Wuod Fibi has relocated officially to Stockholm, Sweden and his fans can’t still believe it because he left the country incognito.
For those who might not know who Engineer Wuod Fibi is, allow me to refresh your memory.
For the past 6 active years as a Record Producer, Wuod Fibi was able to release hits after hits by various artistes at his own record label called Barikiwa Studio which began in a single room in Kariobangi South and grew to be a household name.
Because of his drive and passion to raise more talents, he relocated the studio from Nairobi to Kisumu and eventually to his rural home in Nyakach, Kisumu County.
The ‘Cham Gi Wang’i’ hitmaker who later translated the song to Swahili dubbed ‘Kula Kwa Macho’ due to popular demand trained a lot of upcoming record producers in the country as if he knew he would eventually leave the country to set up shop abroad one day.
The record producers that he nurtured to continue his legacy in the country are Engineer Ortiz Sauti Rumba who is currently the senior Record Producer at Barikiwa Studios that doubles as a Rhumba prospect already working on his album that’s on the horizon.
Another record producer nurtured by him is none other than Engineer Javan Kajudo who Wuod Fibi picked up from the grassroots and he’s currently under the tenure of Fibi’s newest studio in town called MoriSound Studio based in Nairobi.
Javan is also a promising Ohangla upcoming artiste with a few hits doing rounds on the airwaves.
Wuod Fibi also known as Baba Yao by his fans and also by fellow artists, has a number of accolades under his belt, has produced all the top artistes, and hit songs in a span of 6 years since he joined the industry.

There’s something you never knew about the multi-talented Wuod Fibi, he was a worship leader and a youth pastor before he decided to join the world of the music business.
“Growing up as an orphan from the age of eight taught me a lot of things and among them was to be contented with what I have, be committed to my vision, and take every work I do seriously,” Wuod Fibi told Biggest Kaka.

This mantra is what he applied in his life as a Rumba Maestro that has seen him perform around the globe.
Suffice it to say, there’s no Luo Rhumba artiste who can beat his international tour record because he has performed across the globe performing in America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
He is the father of three amazing, super talented girls with one of them being Amani G who was even shared by American hitmaker, Alicia Keys who fell in love with her when she performed her hit record, ‘Girl is On Fire’.
Upendo G and Wema Larisa are also doing well in the gospel music industry in Kenya with Amani G still being managed by PineCreek Records.
At least now you know who Wuod Fibi is and how much of an accomplishment he has achieved throughout his lucrative, successful career.
Wuod Fibi’s relocation to Sweden
Wuod Fibi recently relocated to Stockholm, Sweden where he joined his wife, Nikita Love Nyakano who is a Senior Registered Nurse.
Nikita Love Nyakano is a popular lady among the Luo community globally because of being the wife of a sought-after, top music producer and Rumba Maestro, Engineer Wuod Fibi.

As at moment, he is already working on putting up another major studio in Sweden which will be the entry point of Kenyan local music into the European market and probably international domination using the Sweden record label as a conduit to achieve that seamlessly.
