Willy Paul explains why he has not been releasing new songs

Wilson Radido aka Willy Paul has made it clear that he has not been releasing new music in recent days on purpose.

In his statement on Thursday morning, the former gospel singer claimed that he stopped releasing new songs to show people how poor the Kenyan music industry is without him.

Pozze claimed that during his break from releasing music, many of his fellow musicians have made new songs but they have not satisfied the fans.

“I’m Sorry Fam, I know I’ve Disappointed Most Of You By Not Releasing Any New Music. Anyway, I Did All That On Purpose. To Show All Of You How The Industry Is Bullshit Without My Input. Some Will Differ With Me But Majority Will Take My Side. Musicians Have Tried Releasing Content But Waaaaapppi?? šŸ˜† Since I Love My Fans And My Haters Equally, I’ve Decided To Do Away With The Punishment. Giving You New Music In Afew Days. I’m Glad Now Everyone Knows That Without Pozze, The Kenyan Industry Is As Good As Dead! Lesson learnt!” He wrote.

The ‘Umeme’ hitmaker however announced that he will now end his break and promised to release a new song soon.

“To All Of You That Kept Sending Me Messages Asking For New Music, Say No more! ā¤ļø šŸ˜ he said.

Willy Paul, who is currently doing love songs after breaking into the Gospel music industry years ago, released his last song ‘Kanyagaa’ about two months ago. The song however was just audio without a video.

The last song that the Saldido Records boss released and attached to the video is ‘POPO’ which featured Miss P in April this year.

On the other hand, Bahati, who is thought to be his main rival, released a new song ‘Salome’ earlier this week and has also been making entertaining videos with his wife Diana Marua to keep their fans busy.

The two, who rocked the gospel music industry at different times several years ago, have long been alleged to be hateful and have in the past shown their bad relationship in public.

It is very likely that Willy Paul’s statement about artistes releasing music during his break and not getting good results was an indirect attack on his colleague, Bahati.
