Kenyan comedian and YouTuber Oga Obinna has clarified his absence from a recent high-profile launch event, despite receiving an invitation.
In his weekly YouTube show, Obinna explained that the invitation arrived just a day before the event, and he had already committed to other plans.
“I couldn’t attend the launch because I had work commitments. The invitation came the day before, and I had my day planned out,” Obinna shared.
Obinna also mentioned that he was in the midst of finishing the filming of his new show, ‘My Woman Ke,’ which is currently being showcased on his YouTube channel.
The show centers around his quest to find a woman, marking a significant project in his career.
Despite his absence, Obinna extended his heartfelt congratulations to the event’s stars, Diana and Bahati, who have made history as the first Kenyan couple to launch a reality show on Netflix.
“Congratulations, Diana and Bahati; it’s called checkmate, and that’s a significant achievement for Netflix. It’s fantastic to see everyone celebrating. You’re not just creators but also actors with great content. Congratulations, keep winning. I love seeing young people succeed,” Obinna remarked.
