Savara lands first solo endorsement deal after Sauti Sol took a break from music

1 min read

Sauti Sol’s Savara was unveiled as the new brand ambassador of the alcoholic drink Kenya Kane during a relaunch ceremony at the National Museums of Kenya.

Savara has been picked to lead the ‘The Greats Toast Twice’ campaign as Kenya Kane is making a comeback to the market.

It’s not clear how much Savara pocketed from the deal with Kenya Kane.

It is the first solo deal that Savara has inked since Sauti Sol took a break from music. The group stopped releasing music last year to allow individual members to pursue their solo careers.

Following the move, Sauti Sol members have been releasing their solo albums and are also performing solo at concerts.

Savara dropped his debut solo studio album ‘Savage Level’ earlier this year in February.

The 14-track body of work, which was produced by Savara and cuts across themes including love, awakening, consciousness, anxiety, growth, and excellence at all costs with features from Karun on ‘Vibration’ and Nyashinski on ‘More Than a Friend’.

‘Savage Level’ is a global sound and a tribe with various layers to it. It’s Afro-Confusion – different sonic levels packaged in a beautiful rhythmic way.
