Black Coffee has really come from far to be where he is at right now. Black Coffee is usually booked almost immediately every single month and he has been able to share the stage with one of the best Djs in the world like the late Swedish Dj Avicii among others and also shared the stage with international multi-platinum selling artiste in his career.
What most don’t know is that it wasn’t a bed of roses for the now international Dj who is booked globally as of the month of August this year as he had to stick to what he believed in by making it big by being a Dj.
Speaking at International Music Summit, Black Coffee opens up about being blessed by being a Dj who has made it this far in his career.
“Wow, I have been so blessed man, every now and then I look back at where I have come from, where I come from, you don’t get this far,” he said in part talking about his early life.
“You know, but I’ve always been that odd kid you know, not a lot of friends who used to just talk nonsense you know, like one day I’m gonna go and be a dj in New York and everyone laughs” he added talking
about how he had to believe in himself that he will make it no matter what happens.
“Fast forward to today, residency at high, the collaborations that I’m doing, you know the African Rising Show that I spoke about you know, to sit here on this panel you know and be a part of this panel and be
welcomed on this Island entirely and have my own night” the video he shared on his gram ends.
Black Coffee always tries to instill positive vibes to his 1.5 million followers on his Instagram account whenever he gets the chance because he knows someone somewhere needs some inspiration in life at some point
to help him/her through the huddle they might be going through.
“Big dreams sound like a Fantasy to other people…..just remember they are not suppose to make sense to anybody else but you… ” this was the caption that accompanied the video post that he shared as a Flash Back Friday(#FBF).
Black Coffee real name Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo is one of the sort after African Djs in the world with a direct line to Diddy who once flew him directly to New York to work together a few months back.
