Celebrated Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu dated Diamond Platnumz between 2012 and 2014 in an on-and-off affair.

The veteran Bongo movies actress in a recent interview with Haji Sunday Manara on his YouTube channel opened up about the real reason why she broke up with Diamond.

The actress denied that her inability to conceive was the cause of their separation.

Wema revealed that Diamond’s infidelity was the actual reason behind their separation.

She revealed how she grew tired of constantly dealing with Diamond’s unfaithfulness and how she had tried to address the issues head-on.

“I had reached my limit. I tackled the problems that needed to be addressed, but eventually, I decided to end my relationship with Diamond. I even refused to accept his gift of a car in front of others because I could no longer bear his repeated acts of betrayal,” Wema said.

Diamond and Wema had a profound love for each other, exemplified by their participation in a blood covenant as a symbol of their commitment.

Their affection was even immortalized in a song titled “Nawaza,” dedicated by Diamond to Wema.

Nevertheless, their relationship took a significant turn when Diamond became involved with Zari Hassan, resulting in her pregnancy.

It was after Zari got pregnant with Princess Tiffah that Wema ended the relationship with Diamond.

However, Diamond equally cheated on Zari with other women. He impregnated Hamisa Mobetto while he was still dating Zari.

Zari forgave Diamond but she couldn’t stand him no more when he started flirting with Wema Sepetu again.

Diamond and Wema reignited their love in January 2018 as they were seen having quality time together in a swimming pool.

Zari ultimately broke up with Diamond for good on Valentine’s Day April 14, 2018.
