Everybody is keen on what will go on in Mathare constituency since this time around it will be a sure bout between ODM and Jubilee.
Wakili Anthony T. Oluoch is vying for the seat under the ODM banner while the current and sitting Member of parliament, Stephen Kariuki is vying for the same seat though under the Jubilee ticket after he defected from ODM to Jubilee with his mother, former member of parliament, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru.
It is going to be keen to know the moves these two revered politicians who are loved in equal measures in Mathare constituency do because this is going to be a battle of supremacy in Mathare constituency since many believe that Wakili Olouch’s ODM nomination was taken from him and given to Kariuki who is known there also as K1.
Come election day, we will know for sure who will emerge the victor since it’s going to be an interesting ’bout’ to follow.
Wakili, however has been making trips to the constituency to convince people the importance of registration as voters for the upcoming general elections. The other day he was there making trips and talking to the people there, Stephen Kariuki is yet to make a trip there though there is a big billboard of himself when you enter Juja road from Ngara, so we know that he is indeed in the race for the Member of Parliament seat.
