Nyasuguta, real name Eunice Wambui who is darling to many, TV personality and an actress who left her career in acting to persue her dream and calling to become a politician and represent Embakasi South, a seat she is currently vying for come 2017 general election under the Jubilee ticket.

Nyasuguta was attacked by political goons who beat her to a pulp merely because she is an aspiring member of parliament for Embakasi South. Apparently the goons (who Nyasuguta has since forgave them) were sent by their ‘master’ who they didn’t disclose his identity.

“Three men attacked me as one of them kept watch. They punched my face and hit me with a wooden rod on my neck and back. I kept telling them, take the money I had but they did not steal anything from me. One of them even told me, ‘Hatuna njaa ya pesa.’ They later told me that ‘Embakasi iko na wenyewe’,” Nyasuguta said on a recent interview.

Nyasuguta who said that she won’t be swayed or bow down even after the intense pressure placed on her by her political enemies not to enter the Embakasi South Member of Parliament race because her supporters are behind her.

“At first I was so scared and I even wanted to call it quits, but my supporters in Embakasi have told me to continue soldiering on. They have my back. The sabotage has gotten so bad to the point where I find my car had been vandalised when I would go to check on the various projects I’m working on at the constituencies. Nowadays I just use a taxi,” she continued
