Kenya’s football legend Joe Kadenge asked to see President Uhuru Kenyatta face to face as his wish before he dies. A story that has been followed and covered by local media extensively.
And President Kenyatta has done just that, he visited the ailing football star at his South B home. He was accompanied by the first lady Margaret Kenyatta and other top government officials.
Joe Kadenge is one of Kenya’s great names in football.
“I would like to meet you before I die. It seems my body doesn’t like me anymore and these are the people I would like to meet. The old men, I would like to say goodbye to them so that if God calls me today, I will have an opportunity to say good bye to them,” said the former AFC Leopards and Harambee Stars player.
