A University of Nairobi lady is causing buzz, and its not related to SONU or Babu Owino or UON closing.

Kenyan rapper Louie has teamed up with 2 seasoned rappers, Amateller and Pablo TheMasterForce, on a new video aptly titled ‘Dance Floor’. The track was produced by E-Lvo for Inkverse Music, mixed and mastered by Joel for Fivestar Records and video directed and shot by Jijo Drumbeats for JDFilms. The track is a soundtrack to happiness and good moments, fun and life, music and dance.

‘Dance Floor’ starts with a rather aggressive but calm verse by Louie, where he tells a story of a man trying to stay away from a dancing and fun moment but finds himself attracted to a specific type of lady in the audience he was looking to avoid. This is followed by a chorus where Louie and Amateller blend their vocals together to sooth the moment. “I`ll be on the Dance UH, I`ll be on the Dance Floor” lights it up.

“I look so good that they put me on the menu…” are some of the lines on the second verse. Amateller, and wow! Doesn’t  she just sound amazing. Calm, composed and cool as she tells every man what she thinks should go down… yes! “Pretty point boy from across the world, he can be like me when the song comes on”…

“I’ll be on the Dance Floor, nikigonga vichwa. Kaa Mseto East Africa nawakilisha….” Amid rumours of him quitting music for good and falling out with Louie, Pablo delivers this last verse how he knows best. With the Kiswahili, ghipuka flow.

The video too does a good job of bringing out the whole feel of the song.
