Victoria Kimani has finally released her studio album dubbed ‘Spirit Animal’ that proves she’s here to stay and take the Kenyan sound, the African sound to the international music pedestal it deserves.
The super talented singer, songwriter, and vocalist made sure she gave her all in her latest studio offering which will without any shadow of a doubt put her as one of the top Kenyan artistes making major musical moves in the African continent.
The studio project is well-curated with impressive features coming from talented artistes across Africa.
Victoria Kimani features the phenomenal Mzansi rapper Priddy Ugly, H_art the Band, Bella Alubo, Peruzzi, Yemi Alade, Bella Shmurda, BitterSoul, Lady Du, and KiDi.
‘Spirit Animal’ is a follow-up studio album after her collaborative experimental joint album with FKi 1st that was released 1 year ago.
In this studio album which is her fourth studio release, Victoria Kimani channels her Afropop sound predominantly in the 16-track compilation.
Kimani says that she gave her all recording the ‘Spirit Animal’ studio album noting that creating the album was a challenge thus her tapping into Zebra energy to assist her in making one of her best music albums yet.
“Every part of creating Spirit Animal was a challenge … every single detail… I had to tap into that Zebra energy for real! I can’t believe it’s finally out.
