Uproar as Kisii tribesmen invited at Uhuru’s function at State House Nakuru go hungry

President Uhuru Kenyatta met a delegation of Abagusii leaders and their supporters at State House Nakuru on Wednesday September 13th.

The head of state used the opportunity to woo the Abagusii community to support him in October 17th repeat presidential election.

The delegation which headed to State House Nakuru comprised of ordinary Abagusii tribesmen and women. State House was to feed all of them but unfortunately some went hungry.

Video of a man at State House Nakuru eating remnants from a large sufuria has sparked uproar on social media with prominent Kisiis such as Cyprian Nyakundi condemning his tribesmen and women.

“‪Uhuru says he will help Kisiis yet he couldnt provide enough food for the glutinous “Leaders” that went there. They scrambled for the little. Unaacha amatoke Gusii to embarrass yourself this way . The #GusiiBeggars are outcasts !” Wrote Nyakundi.
