This is the second story this week I am writing about love gone sour. Sour is actually an understatement, tragic fits this story much better. The first is the link.

A university student from Kabianga University committed suicide by hanging herself using a nylon rope. Hellen Nyambura Kinyanjui, 22, was found dangling in her rented residence at Chepnyogaa trading centre, a couple of metres from the learning institution.

The body was discovered at around 11am although the door to the deceased had been locked from the inside and had to be broken down. According to an unidentified source, the deceased had been involved in a suspected love triangle.

Ms. Mary Masitsa a former student from Kabianga who lives nearby, said Ms. Nyambura left an unfinished meal thought to be her last meal ever before she proceeded to end her own life. Another sad revelation that came to light was that the deceased was a mother of a girl whom she leaves behind. Sad indeed!

You all know my opinion on these types of happenings. There is no love worth killing yourself for. That is an obsession. May she rest in peace.
