Uhuru Kenyatta during a tour of the National Youth Service Textile and Garment Technology Institute promised to make sure that the NYS will tailor all uniforms worn by Kenya’s discipline forces.

“As part of my Big Four agenda, the National Youth Service will henceforth tailor all uniforms worn by our Disciplined Forces. In this way we will create employment for our young people under the pillar of enhanced manufacturing.” – president Uhuru Kenyatta said.

Uhuru Kenyatta further went on to say that his government will ensure that they recover all the land that was once owned by NYS and taken by greedy people in different parts of the country.

“We must ensure that we recover all the land that was owned by NYS and taken by people in various parts of the country. That land can be put to use to train those who desire to move into agriculture.” – He added.

He also promised houses to the youth after the land will be recovered.

“We will also use part of the land that we will recover to build affordable houses. The youth who work to deliver food security and the manufacturing promise will be the first to benefit. Our youth should be able to own their own houses.” He further went on to say.
