The dynamic duo of Trio Mio and Shari Africa has once again released their highly anticipated hit record dubbed ‘Vumilia’.

This is the second time these two great established artistes have worked today.

On this record, Trio Mio raps about spiritual growth and having a conversation with God at a one-on-one level.

Thanks to the beautiful, majestic vocals by Shari Africa on the hook of the record, the message of the song hits home rather smoothly.

The chemistry of these two artistes can’t be denied, they just click together and that’s something amazing, everytime they enter the recording booth together, they come up with a hit record, the first one was on their ‘Serekeka’ hit song released only a few months ago.

Here’s the quotable lyrics from Shari Afrika, he spits about something totally relatable to almost everybody currently living in Nairobi who is living in and slightly below the middle class.

Nabalance talanta na mbuku, inakuanga ngori nang’ang’ana/ Nabambanya mkwanja ya supu, kasembe angalau tusilale njaa/ Mi mbele nacheki dalili za taa/ Milele nakuanga naamini Sir Jah/ Ni Ye amenifikisha huku, ni Trio kwa mbulu wanatazama/ Maisha uwanga up and down kama moodswings ama seesaw/Naja full swing kila seaseon/ N’ko kwa pulpit nina seek God/ Nina seek strength ya ku sing song zitafanya mthama asare kusakanya/ Nimshikie kikeja na nganya/ Hadi hapa ni sala za mkanya

Trio Mio gets as real as it gets with his latest ‘Vumilia’ record and that’s might be the reason why he’s been trending the entire day since he officially released the ‘Vumilia’ hit record earlier on this morning.

Here’s the official music video for ‘Vumilia’ as written and performed by the teenage Trio Mio and Shari Afrika.

I am a Pan-Afrikanist to the core and love to let the world know what they are missing in Africa. I might do that through music and some interesting posts from time to time so please bare with me.

I will always be real though, that's a guarantee.
