Trio Mio has reported to school after dominating the radio waves in the last quarter of 2020.

The rapper made a video thanking Denri Africa for sending him off to school in style thanks to their bags and also said some encouraging words to his fans as he leaves for school.

Trio Mio real name  TJ Mario Kasela also known as T.J (Thank you Jesus) reported back to school with a clean-shaven head since most schools(save for some private schools) don’t condone students having any other haircut apart from a bald shave or short hair.

Trio Mio was accompanied by his supportive mother, Irma Sakwa who has always supported him through his music career as a rapper.

Trio Mio is Kenya’s rap future, he’s only 16 years old

As much as Irma Sakwa wants nothing but the best for his son in the music industry, she also wants the best for Trio Mio in education to at least have a backup plan in a career of his choice just in case the music industry doesn’t work out for him on the long haul(not that it wouldn’t but it’s always proper to have a plan b if your plan a doesn’t work).

For a 16-year-old rapper, Trio Mio has achieved a lot compared to his counterparts in the hip hop business.

The 16-year-old rapper and ‘Cheza Kama Wewe’ hitmaker who even has a record out with Tanzania’s Young Lunya has left his fans with a brand new song dubbed ‘Serekeka’ featuring one of the talented singers and vocalists, Shari Afrika.

Watch the official music video for ‘Serekeka’ below as written and performed by Shari Afrika and Trio Mio.

I am a Pan-Afrikanist to the core and love to let the world know what they are missing in Africa. I might do that through music and some interesting posts from time to time so please bare with me.

I will always be real though, that's a guarantee.
