Trio Mio’s mother Irma Sakwa quickly reacted to the threat issued against her son.

According to her, they were yet to heal from the robbery incident Trio Mio went through a few weeks ago, only for the death threats to surface.

“At times we take jokes too far…but this hii sio funny at all. My son not long ago got mugged at gunpoint we are yet to get over the trauma. Then this???” she said in a post on Instagram.

Trio’s mom notified the DCI of the death threats issued against her son.

“@dci_kenya have you seen this?As a parent I humbly request for action to be taken against these characters! My heart isn’t at peace. May God protect my child!…,” she further stated.

In a separate interview, Sakwa said that DCI were yet to respond to their worries, but she insisted that the culprits must face consequences of their actions.

“People will play around until something bad happens, these young boys have no conscience, they will rob you and take your life. Action must be taken against the culprits,” she said.

Speaking about the robbery incident, she said that were living in fear as they can’t differentiate between fans and thugs.

“We live fearfully because artistes are nocturnal. We have no idea who the fans are and who are thugs. Not long ago my son got mugged at gunpoint. The thugs who robbed Trio Mio approched him like fans only to pull out weapons,” Sakwa said.
