Trio Mio has captured the rap and hip hop scene in the country with a force that hasn’t been seen prior to him coming along in the mainstream music scene in the shortest time possible.
For starters, the upcoming hip hop prospect currently holds the record in the country for being a successful teenager in the rap scene at the tender age of 16 years old.
At the tender age of 16, Trio Mio is making long-existed, veteran rappers reconsider their current rap status after he has owned the rap game in unprecedented fashion.
What Trio Mio has achieved at the tender age of 16 years is something impressive, even to somebody who isn’t a fan and/or follower of hip hop industry in the country.
Trio Mio who has the full support of his parents is by far, one of the promising artistes in the hip hop realm to look out for. He revealed the other day that he comes from a family of musicians with his father and brother being musicians as well.
The teenage rapper who has been in the mainstream spotlight for 6 months has some hit records under his belt that makes him one of the hard-working rappers in the game today.
Thanks to his hit record ‘Cheza Kama Wewe’ that gained him the success that he’s currently basking under, Trio Mio decided to do a remix of the same record bringing out Mejja, ExRay, and Nellythegoon that at the time of this publishing has over 1.14 million views on YouTube.

To put it in a perspective that most people would understand, Trio Mio opened up his official YouTube channel this year, May 22, 2020, and throughout this time, he’s managed to finesse his way up into the mainstream music industry.
That’s the shortest time any rapper in the country today has ever achieved such an accomplishment.
It’s inevitable Trio Mio was destined for nothing but greatness in the music industry to become one of the best rappers Kenya has ever seen.
Despite starting writing music when he was in class 7 after opening up to Willis Raburu’s 10/10 show, Trio Mio grasped the attention of the entire hip hop and Gengetone genres in the shortest time ever, that should count for something.
Trio Mio has been cosigned by one of the best rappers Kenya and entire Africa has seen thus far in Khaligraph Jones and that’s something that doesn’t come easy. This means he is most certainly doing something right in the industry.
Khaligraph Jones believes Trio Mio is best suited to pick up the mantle of being the best rapper alive in Kenya after him and he’s seriously convinced about that.
The youngest mainstream rapper in Kenya today released his debut project in ‘Son of the City’ EP back on November 22 that has since solidified him as a serious rapper to watch out for in the near future.
For a 16-year-old lad who wasn’t known as much 6 months ago, Trio Mio has proven without a shadow of any doubt whatsoever that he is bound for nothing but glory and greatness in the music industry.
Having expressed that he intends to also dominate the gospel music industry in the future, Trio Mio might just have a blueprint of owning and dominating the entire music industry, all genres notwithstanding.
