TnT is one of the first rising hip hop duos that is taking the hip hop scene to the next level in rap and trap with flyness, prowess, and talent like no other.

TnT which comprises of TwennyEights and Timmy Blanco got the whole world dancing to their tune on the ‘Christopher Wallace’ record that nobody can’t get enough of.

That being said, here are some of the reasons why TnT is the next big thing in the Kenyan rap scene, TnT will take the Kenyan music industry to the next level.

Individual artistes

Like I mentioned before, TnT has two artistes, TwennyEights and Timmy Blanco and before they make TnT as a group, they are two individual artistes that do their own projects separately when the need arises.
For instance, Timmy Blanco just got featured on the Khaligraph Jones debut album ‘Testimony 1990’ while TwennyEights has a whole pot of projects under his belt and a lot of them on the pipeline as a solo artiste.

Study of the rap game

For everyone and every body who wants to change anything on their respective fields they have to take a chill pill, take a back seat and study the game before they jump on it, that’s how the greats are usually made.

Sit back, study the game, find your angle and/or. niche and then jump on the game was the tackle TnT used and it worked for them because them studying the game, they came with a unique sound that can make them transform from a rapper to a trapper in a heartbeat and that’s what us, the fans want; some diversity in the music industry.

International level music standards

It is a given that Camp Mulla played a major role in helping hip hop groups become recognized internationally by releasing good quality music that is well mastered to reach not only a local audience but the international one as well.

TnT capitalizes on this and makes music that can be listened by a fan in Liverpool, England and also by a fan in Kibera, Kenya and still resonate from the lyrics they put out.

I think TnT is the chosen duo to bring back the Kalamashaka glory days back to Kenya, I also think it’s long overdue for Kenya to bring back the hip hop culture and hype that we once owned but with TnT there is hope.

Representing both social fronts

TnT represents both the rich side of life and the not so privileged side of the same.

Most of their lyrics speak about what’s going on both sides of life and tells a story that anyone from both worlds can resonate with.

Work hard – go hard or go home mentality on their craft

TnT continues to put out music each day regardless of who is listening to them if you are a fan or not and regardless of the critic.

Key for making it is to be prolific and never lose content one day and TnT doesn’t seem to lose any content and never stop to put out new music, just visit their SoundCloud to see this for yourself.

With artistes like Timmy Blanco and TwennyEights(TnT) the future of Kenyan music industry is secure
