Thomas Muthee Ng’ang’a arrested for the gruesome murder of Naneu Muthoni

On November 14, Naneu Muthoni, was found brutally murdered at her home at Onyoka Estate in Langata Sub-County. The primary suspect in her murder, Thomas Muthee Ng’ang’a has since been arrested.

Thomas Muthee Ng’ang’a, the culprit and the victim’s husband, was apprehended in Malaba, Kenya and Uganda, where he had been hiding since the murder was reported.

The suspect, who had a hunch that detectives were on his trail, was bone-drunk and hopping from one drinking establishment to another during the 48-hour operation carried out by sleuths from the elite Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CRIB) based at Nairobi Area and their DCI Langata counterparts.

Thomas Muthee Ng’ang’a is suspected of planning the horrific murder of his sweetheart, Naneu Muthoni, whose lifeless body was discovered splayed on a sofa with blood seeping from her nose and a deep slash on her forehead.

Detectives from the forensic crime scene investigations section, situated at the DCI National Forensic laboratory, conclusively documented patterns of blood splatter on the walls and floor of the one-bedroom residence.
Some of the deceased’s personal items were found on the suspect at the time of his arrest.

At the time this article was published, the suspect was being processed at the Malaba Police Station before being sent to the Langata Police Station, where he will be accused of murder in violation of sections 203 and 204 of the Penal Code and brought to trial to answer for his crimes.
