Tanasha Donna has not even been in the music industry for a long time but she is already thinking of retiring from the game.
The Kenyan songbird recently opened up about her retirement plan, revealing when she would quit the music industry.
In a post on her InstaStories, Tanasha said that she would be leaving the industry for good once she attain the goal she wants to achieve.
“The day I fulfil my goal in this industry. I’m leaving the industry FOR GOOD. The wise ones may get a slight understanding as to why. But first, there’s a certain mark I have to leave before I’m gone. I believe it is part of my purpose. May Allah have mercy on all our souls,” Tanasha wrote.
Tanasha has been in the industry for about three years. Her biggest achievement so far came in 2020 when she featured her baby daddy Diamond to released ‘Gere’.
Gere was one of the biggest songs in 2020, so far the song has garnered over 33 million views on YouTube.
Tanasha has other songs but they were not as successful as ‘Gere’.
Many people think Tanasha has a long way to go before she can be considered to be a successful musician.
In November, a fan on social media asked Tanasha why she is underrated as a musician and she said that her time to shine had not yet arrived.
“Why are you underrated? The fan asked Tanasha.
“Cause my time ain’t here yet,” she responded.
