The Nakuru Senator, Hon. Susan Kihika has fired back after learning of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s remarks on his previous sit-down interview at State House on Monday, August 23rd, 2021.

The President of the Republic of Kenya asked his Deputy to resign if he’s uncomfortable with how the Jubilee Government is running the government.

“If you are not happy, the honorable thing to do would be to step aside and allow those who want to move on, move on. You Can’t have your cake and eat it. You have to be principled and decide, that is what happens in a democracy, do not confuse people by throwing stones in the same house you are living in. I will not deviate from the agenda I have set on course,” Uhuru stated in his interview at State House.

Senator Susan Kihika was quick to react to what President Kenyatta told his Deputy on live TV saying that the Deputy President was elected by 7 million Kenyans back in 2017.

Kihika went further to tell the President through her official Twitter handle to resign instead of his Deputy since he seems uncomfortable working with Deputy President William Samoei Ruto.

“[Deputy President]William Ruto in Oct 2017, 7,483,895 of us voted for you as the Deputy President. We, your employers, are not dissatisfied.

The one asking you to resign obviously thinks he appointed you to the job, well, HE DIDN’T! WE DID! Kaa Ngumu!

He can as well RESIGN! alaaaaa!” Kihika’s official tweet read.
