What happened exactly? She wanted to make sure every family member would be in attendance but her dad was diagnosed with leukaemia and has been receiving chemotherapy. Doctors told Vieneese and her family that her dad may not be able to hold on much longer.
“The doctors have given him only a few weeks to live,”
After this sad news she decided to go into hyper-drive with her wedding plans bringing the wedding forward, so her dad would at least see her walk down the aisle. She wanted to do it as a surprise for her dad and he had no idea what was going on until everyone got to the hospital. The bride credits the amazing staff at the hospital for helping her pull off the wedding. She added on Facebook:
“We have both dreamed of him walking me down the aisle to my groom. The doctors have given him only a few weeks to live so with the help of an AMAZING nurse team we were able to have a surprise wedding for my dad so he could attend,”
“This was one of the best moments of my life. “This man has raised me since I was 3 years old and now I get the chance to be there for him. Dad, I love you more than you know and I am going to be by your side for every step of this process.”
