Riky Rick will be laid to rest today after his untimely death that saw the hip hop community not only in South Africa but also in entire Africa gutted.
The funeral service for the late South African rapper, singer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado is currently underway.

Riky Rick’s family Kumi Naidoo took to social media to invite Riky Rick’s friends and fans to his funeral service that is getting streamed online in real-time.
“Dear friends, family and colleagues,
My family has been overwhelmed by the immense support and solidarity we have received from all over South Africa, the African continent and from around the world.
The deep pain and terrible sense of loss has been a burden made a little easier since Rikhado left us.
So once again, on behalf of the Zondo, Makhado and Naidoo families, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for the kindness that so many people have shown around the world.
The funeral will take place tomorrow, six days after Rikhado passed on. Unfortunately, because of COVID restrictions, the number of attendees will be limited. The church service tomorrow is focused on family.
However, we would be humbled and honored if you were able to join us by livestream (1 March Tues 11am – 1pm SAST) wherever you are in the world. Please find the link attached. A bigger Memorial service will take place on Friday and I will share this link as soon as it’s available,” Kumi Naidoo wrote on Facebook in part.
