If you are a hip-hop fan, then there’s no way you were looking forward to this album which if you ask me was long overdue as Bigstar Johnson has been the talk of hip-hop ever since he came up.
Bigstar Johnson real name Tumelo Rakumako who is originally from Kempton Park, Johannesburg recently got signed to Warner Music South Africa released his debut album dubbed ‘Me & Mines’ which is nothing short of a classic.
The album cover in itself highlights Bigstar Johnson’s life growing up to becoming who he is today and he even shared the sonograph of his daughter on the cover as well letting all of us know how proud a dad he is to his daughter.
The album, in a nutshell, is about his coming up in the music industry and indeed his journey in the game has been a tremendous come up especially after he won the reality hip-hop competition, The Vuzu Hustle Season 1 which opened doors for him and also landed him a Management deal with the Vth Season.
The 12 tracks album has features from Kaylo, Rouge, Jay Claude, Kwesta, Zoocci Coke Dope, Apple Flave and The Dreamers.
In the album, we get to know about his versatility in jumping on any beat and still spit some bars like on the ‘Two Cups’ record which features Rouge is a Donell Jones’ rendition to his hit song ‘U Know What’s Up’.
I wouldn’t want to spoil the fan for all of you, so you best cop this classic hip-hop album of 2018.
What I can tell you is that all of the features he has on the album are well thought over and they are all hit records and you can have a little taste of the full album below.
