The Kenyan hip hop shouldn’t be looked at in the same eye like we used to before now that Femi One has released her debut studio album.

Femi One, a female bonafide rapper signed under King Kaka’s Kaka Empire has made a name for herself in the male-dominated industry proving not only her but other female rappers in the game have something to say.

Femi One is a complete artiste and she’s among the very few female rappers that can go head-to-head with their male counterparts and most probably embarrass them on the track easily and seamlessly if they were courageous enough to risk their careers like that.

Femi One’s debut studio album is finally here, she has in the recent past served the hip hop fans, –and all other mainstream urban genre fans– with some of her studio projects over the years.

Femi One is hands-down a consistent, prolific, and versatile artiste making sure every other fan gets to have something that they can resonate with when they listen to her music, and her latest project dubbed ‘Greatness’ lives up to its world because it’s nothing short of GREATNESS.

At this point in her career, Femi One should be considered as one of the best rappers to ever picked up a mic and rapped; both male and female. She’s since surpassed the plateau of being regarded as just a female rapper, she’s a rapper, period and she should deservingly be addressed as such.

Once you get around to streaming her project ‘Greatness’ you will understand why she’s considered the best rapper to ever do it not only in Kenya but across the East African region.

Stream easily one of the hardest hip hop projects from a female rapper in Africa today dubbed ‘Greatness’ as compiled and presented by Femi One through Kaka Empire.

After listening to her rap in the ‘Greatness’ studio album, what comes to mind after listening to the last track ‘Diva’ on the project is how crazy her track with Nadia Nakai would be if they finally happen to work together in the future, their collabo would easily blow everything out of the water. I mean, an African hip hop connoisseur can dream!

Femi One has everybody talking about her after this project.

If I were to rate this studio project it could easily is a 10/10, all things considered, but then that would warrant more questions that answer so to make sure that haters have some breathing space, we’re gonna rate it 9/10.

Argue with the hip-hop connoisseur right after streaming the whole 14 tracks on the project before you counter my rating.
