Stivo Simple Boy’s estranged management has revealed that the rapper suffered a mental breakdown after a serious fight with his wife Grace Atieno.
The management Men In Business (MIB)’s CEO Vaga Genius revealed that there was a time Stivo failed to perform at a show due to stress.
According to the MIB leader, Stevo had quarreled with his wife so much that he was mentally affected.
“I can’t talk much about his wife because I’m not very close to her and we don’t talk much. I remember the last time Stivo was in a difficult period of depression, people didn’t know. They had their differences with the woman he calls his wife, I remember even then Stevo failed to get in the studio and we were working hard to talk about him,” Vaga said.
The MIB boss said that Stivo never explained much about what was wrong with his marriage but they also did not support his idea of having a wife because they wanted him to work artistically first before getting married.
“I asked him and he told me that they were arguing about things here and there, I didn’t really understand because I was putting more emphasis on his commercial side and I told Stivo that you must pay attention to your work because the work that is in front of us, we need to invest more effort in order to have a profitable deal something that can change your life,” he said.
“We didn’t go too deep to find out what happened with his wife, what we looked at was his mental health, we made sure he was always in the studio. He had the freedom to come to me at any time and talk about whatever was happening to him,” Vaga added.
Vaga said that he has done great things for the artiste, some of which were not even included in their contract when they took him a year ago.
