Smallz Lethal calls for the arrest of Babu Owino on his ‘Leaders of Today’ record that features one of Kibera’s rap finest, Katapilla as he raps about a lot of things the youth and the countrymen take for granted like how the power really belongs to the people and not otherwise.
Smallz Lethal has proved without any reasonable doubt that he’s one of the greatest conscious rappers who is intertwined in making sure that the voice of the youth in Kenya is heard just as he stood up for the youth on his ‘I’m Offended’ controversial hit song that shocked the entire Kisii County and got the entire country talking about him after he was arrested for releasing the song that questioned the authority of the Kisii County government.
One of the Kisii Rap Kings’ founder enlisted Katapilla to help him push the importance of what he’s saying on his ‘Leaders of Today’ record that acts somewhat as a beacon of hope to Kenyan youth who doesn’t know how powerful their involvement in the political matter really is.
“Men I’m feeling like Marcus Garvey/Tom Mboya, Malcolm X, Martin Luther had a dream/tunatry kujiredeem so we’re the leaders of today/” Katapilla’s says on the hook of the ‘Leaders of Today’ song.
Smallz Lethal is the boldest rapper today hands-down, he’s the only Kenyan rapper who called out politicians by their names for the things they haven’t done to their people despite promising them they would make a difference.
In his latest song, Smallz Lethal talks to the entire Kenyan youth who are the ‘Leaders of Today’ to somewhat wake up, play a role in making sure that they’re making a difference in the country.
The ‘Leaders of Today’ is a song that you can’t afford to stream once, it has to be on repeat.
