Smallz Lethal, Alto Kflow set to drop ‘Bud For Business’ mixtape

Smallz Lethal doesn’t need to be introduced when it comes to rap music in Kenya, even across the East African region.

The KRK(Kisii Rap Kings) founder had the entire country talking about him and his ‘I’m Offended’ hit song that saw him getting arrested. The rapper had called out the Kisii government for not performing as they had promised in their manifesto prior to them getting elected.

Smallz Lethal has OG status in these “streets” and in the entire hip hop industry that’s why his news of releasing his latest project dubbed ‘Bud For Business’ is welcomed with both hands today.

The rapper who is the voice of Kisii rap today who usually empowers the youth through his Football club, KRK football club opened up sharing his plans for the unreleased yet promising ‘Bud For Business’ mixtape.

Smallz is set to launch the ‘Bud For Business’ mixtape on October 24, 2020, at Maskani Pork and Barbecue Grill with special appearance coming from Kayvo Kforce, Willy M. Tuva, Chiwawa, Rajville, U.B, Katapilla, Nafsi Huru, Kev Mamba, Alto Kflow, Michiretti from The Real House helps of Kawangware, Amstardaph, Oksyde, Truth 254, Buff, and Pavelee.

Smallz Lethal, speaking about how his project came about during this isolation period because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the rapper representing Kisii County with everything he’s got said that the isolation was a blessing in disguise because it was the best time to create music and strategize.

“The pandemic period has had both negative & positive effects on every one of us, but for a creative like me it has been the best time to create music and strategize.” Smallz Lethal told Biggest Kaka.

“This project is the child of these times. Born & Raised in the isolation period,” he continued.

Being a collaborative project together with his artiste, Alto Kflow who he signed under his KRK imprint, Smallz Lethal is happy to have featured the artises he has featured on the project as they are all talented and bring something unique and tangible to the “table” when putting out their music.

“The guests on the album are all super talented & I admire their works & work ethic. It’s the first collaborative project by KRK – Kisii Rap Kings (Smallz Lethal & Alto Kflow).” Smallz lethal concluded.

Alto Kflow who is the only signed artiste under Smallz Lethal’s KRK(Kisii Rap Kings) opened up about being grateful to his boss, mentor, and musical big brother, Smallz Lethal for always being there for him learning from the best.

“It has been great working with my big brother Smallz Lethal and these are the fruits that bore after months of hard work.” Alto Kflow said in part about finally putting out a collaborative project together with Smallz Lethal.

He’s appreciative of the fact that Smallz Lethal has been able to come through for him over the years in his rap career in the super-competitive music industry.

“The experience is amazing considering it’s the first time working with most of the artists on the tape. They are all skilled in their own ways and that’s what makes the project a classical and timeless piece of work.” he went on.

The ‘Bud For Business’ mixtape has interesting features on the 11 tracks with Katapilla, Raj, Hazzy, Juma Nature, Truth 254, Carlos, Babu Gee, Forever Young, EMC, Pauline, Levis Brown, Mokii, making guest appearances on the project.

The ‘Kindezi’ hitmaker disclosed that this project is going to be a precursor to his third studio album dubbed ‘Leaders Of Today’ that should be expected later on this year which he has promised to be one of the best projects across all genres in the country, not in the rap genre.

“To all KRK & Alto Kflow fans, I just want to let y’all know that this is just the beginning of great things to come. Keep supporting the movement” Alto Kflow told his and KRK fans as a parting shot.
