Seth Gor the entertainer who always keeps us entertained on social media with his sketches has been going through a lot of stuff these past few months.
Late last year saw comedian Seth Gor getting arrested by police officers after his ex-girlfriend reported him to the police for allegedly clobbering her after an altercation between the two of them.
The Backstory
The comedian was reported by his ex-girlfriend, miss Shiko Phyna to the police late last year for allegedly clobbering her after an altercation.
Shiko got Seth Gor arrested at Buruburu police station, Seth was later on released on a cash bail of KShs. 20,000.
Shiko Phyna shared her side of the story about what exactly happened on her Instagram stories which she, later on, deleted the same.
Shiko dated her ex-boyfriend, Seth Gor for a couple of months.
A diagnosis letter from MediHeal hospital located in Eastleigh, Nairobi said that Shiko Phyna had been treated for a broken finger and had suffered blunt force trauma to the side of her head.
Edgar Obare spoke with both of them: Seth Gor and Shiko Phyna who were both tight-lipped to open up about what had happened.
After being persistent though, Seth Gor said: “My girlfriend and I are cool, we had an argument and she hit me and her nail broke,” he said in the post.
Seth Gor’s side of the story
This is the first time Seth Gor publicly opened up about the entire situation between himself and his ex-girlfriend that saw him getting arrested and later on getting released on cash bail.
On a tweet that he sent out on December 22, 2019, Seth Gor stuck to his truth-telling the world that he knows his truth, doesn’t need to explain himself to anyone and more importantly, he knows his truth maintaining his innocence.

Until recently, Seth Gor has never addressed this issue publicly, ever.
Seth Gor recently took to social media to open up about his side of the story that he’s never talked about for months about his rocky relationship with his girlfriend.
“Last year hours before my birthday, my ex-girlfriend violently attacked me because of my insistence in ending that relationship.” Seth Gor said, adding, “It has been a rocky relationship; we had our good days and bad days – and the bad days were physically and mentally exhausting.”
Addressing how his girlfriend broke her fingernail, Seth Gor explained that he never laid his hands on her saying she was the one who attacked him instead and not the other way around.

Seth Gor disclosed that Shiko Phyna assaulted him physically as opposed to what most people perceived the whole situation, Seth decided to block her blows which in turn made her break her fingernail.
“As she physically assaulted me, I blocked my face with my hands and one of her blows ended up breaking her fingernail,” he said.
The comedian who wants everybody to know the truth once and for all went on to say:
“This is where the facts started getting murky, she ran to a police station and obtained an OB and a P3 form (She is a cop and called her colleagues on me ) then she immediately launched a campaign and reached out to bloggers to paint me as an abuser.”
Gor disclosed that his ex-girlfriend apologized after all the facts came to light and her statement withdrawn.
“A few days later, all the facts were laid bare to bloggers and the police and her OB/statement was withdrawn, and she apologized.”
The one plea from Seth Gor to reporters and bloggers out there is to first seek the truth before running with a story because some stories ruin reputations and sometimes even careers.
The consistent misreporting of this incident has become a dark cloud in my life and I want it to go away.” Seth Gor said.
“My sincere appeal to everyone; please report the facts – being a victim of emotional and physical abuse is a tough tag to carry, it’s even worse when your grief is taken away by misreporting.”
