Scar’s ‘Stoko’ makes an undeniable statement in hip hop

Scar started off the new year with a bang, not like the others years before.

With this energy, it’s almost certain that this might just be the year we get to finally listen to his first solo studio project.

Last year was a busy day for Wakadinali, a clique that Scar is a part of, they got to release their highly anticipated studio project ‘Victims of Madness’ which was positively acclaimed and top numerous charts in the country with their singles.

Last year, Scar was awarded the UNkutHennessy Hip Hop Awards for the category of Best Male Artist.

This year, however, Scar has his eyes set on dominating the rap game as we know it.

Scar has kick-started the year with an unprecedented fashion that will make certain that we get to hear what he has to say in records.

Just to stress how busy and prolific Scar really is, in a span of 3 months, Scar has released 3 singles; ‘Zote’, ‘Brother in Law’ featuring ExRay, and his latest release ‘Stoko’.

The ‘Whip Inapiga Madoba’ hitmaker was featured on five projects by Hitman Kaht(on the ‘Kenya Sihami’ record together Mastar VK), HR The Messenger(on the ‘Gwantana’ record), Vioxii Dede(on the ‘Level’s song together with Lloyd Marcos), ExRay[twice; on ‘Chimney’ together with Boutross, and on ‘Disco Matanga’ together with Zzero Sufuri, Kristoff, Rekless].

The scar is coming for his piece of the hip hop’s pie and he’s coming for a huge chunk of it, not a slice or a piece, but a chunk of the pie.

Vioxii Dede brought out Scar, Lloyd Marcos on his latest ‘Levels’ song

If you were a betting person, you’d bet Scar is inevitably bound to take over Kenya’s hip hop scene in 2021, all odds considered.

In his first solo project of 2021, which was released on the 4th day of January, Scar released ‘Stoko’, both the audio and the visuals for the same making a mark while at it.
