Scar Mkadinali is one busy rapper in Kenya today, he’s all over the place, in under a month, he’s been in over 3 records from different rappers with one of them being a Tanzanian rapper, Brian Simba.
Scar is by far one of the most prolific, versatile, sought-after rappers today, everybody wants a piece of what he has to offer in the rap game today.
The one-third member of the Wakadinali rap group took time to remind black people everywhere in case they might have forgotten about the richness of the black skin reiterating how real the “Black is Beautiful” mantra really is urging black people to stop bleaching but be appreciative of their black skin instead.
Scar has since grown as an artiste and thanks to his growth, his music is gradually becoming international, conscious, and amassing him loyal fanbase inside and out of the East African region.
The entire song is quotable, Lord G came prepared with some bars for days that stress the importance of having black skin.
Here’s the entire first verse of Scar Mkadinali;
“I told them black is back/Put your brains and your hearts intact/Master Kovu be the black is black/Black tee, black jeans/black Clarks/ Black is beautiful black is not dark/Black is me and you coming from Africa/ Black is on the move/ black is on the map/Black in everything we do we never stop/ I’m a blessed kid unaeza uliza men/ Mama took me up the hills future Israel/ He poured blood on my feet kiss my forehead/ And my enemies see defeat in any biz I’m in/ If you don’t get it go figure my nigga/ Black like Museveni na Oginga Odinga/ Kama ni black biz sema ni mapinga nitalipa/ To all my black siz ni sawa ukishinda umeringa/”
This ‘Black’ record is way deeper than what meets the eye, this is the type of song that can easily resonate with any black man on planet earth today, it’s somewhat like a wake-up call music to all the black people today.
Scar didn’t stop pushing forward the positive agenda of self-love and appreciative black skin in the first verse, he had some powerful stuff to say in the third verse right after Lord G told us that “black don’t crack and black is beautiful”.
This song is bound to arouse your intellect just by listening to the song keenly, word for word.
This is Scar Mkadinali’s second powerful verse;
“It’s a black thing me I wouldn’t stop beefing/ You’re good in your black skin please stop bleaching/every day a brother goes missing/ If he wasn’t a black activist we won’t miss him/ Facts we don’t lie man/ We’re not politicians we’re not Raila/ We’re not just musicians we much wider/ We formula militias and we only one triders/ Oh sorry we only one traders/ Bro alikuwanga anasundanga upini kinena/ Waliniona lakini wakanilenga/ They wonder how I do streets and still make bangers/ Black like Gadaffi my idol/ Black like Toughees in Primo/ Black we ain’t going back it is final/ I need a black Benz just to match my black mind bro/”
With records like these, it’s inevitable for his take over and/or only a matter of time before Scar takes over the world with such great music that goes beyond any expectation and/or plateau set out for him by his fans.
When it comes to Scar Mkadinali’s music, you’re never prepared and/or ready for what he’s about to release.
The ‘Black’ record proves Scar is way above the curve in the music industry today, just give him a few years, he’s going to be bigger than your favorite artiste, and I’m not just speaking your favorite rapper, and talking about your favorite pop star!
