Sauti Sol held a VIP show at Uhuru Gardens on November 2, 2023, ahead of their final performance as a group on November 4, 2023, before they each go their separate ways.
The quartet is splitting to allow each member to pursue their solo careers.
There were fears Sauti Sol’s VIP show would flop when they announced in August that they were charging a Ksh20,000 entrance fee in this hard economic times.
Bien explained the reason for setting the entrance fee at Ksh20,000 for the VIP show.
However, on October 31, Sauti Sol announced that the VIP show had sold out.
“The late comers have shown up and showed out! 💥🎊🎉 We’re all sold out for the #Solfest VIP show! 🤗,” Sauti Sol wrote.
The VIP show was a big success. At least a thousand revelers paid the Ksh20,000 entrance fee to go watch Sauti Sol perform.
Videos of Sauti Sol’s VIP show went viral on social media, many people were puzzled how revelers parted ways with Ksh20,000 to attend the gig.
Sauti Sol tonight November 4, 2023, are performing again for an ordinary show where entrance fee is 2,500, while a behind-the-scenes access to the same event is Ksh 6,500.
The group will go their separate ways after tonight’s show.
