Samidoh, Muigai Wa Njoroge tease each other after being left by their first wives

Popular Kikuyu singers Samidoh Muchoki and Muigai wa Njoroge recently engaged in a rather bizarre exchange during a live concert in Embu County.

The duo, performing at a hotel in Embu town, decided to inject some humor into their performance by joking about the controversial situations in their personal lives. Both artists have reportedly separated from their first wives.

The peculiar banter kicked off when Muigai wa Njoroge mentioned he was heading home to his two wives, claiming they were eagerly awaiting his return.

“One escaped!!” Samidoh retorted, to which Muigai wa Njoroge responded, “Were you not left, only when you added sweetness..”

Samidoh, known for his Mugithi songs, jokingly retorted, “They escaped with a bird, they escaped with a bird. But yours escaped on a motorcycle.”

Unfazed, Muigai saw the situation as an opportunity, suggesting that the shorter distance between him and his estranged wife would facilitate her return if he desired.

“She will come if you want him, you must look for Visa,” Muigai quipped before exiting the stage promptly.

Samidoh, undeterred, boasted of his financial success, likening traveling abroad to a casual visit to a village.

This playful exchange occurred amidst reports of both singers’ marital troubles. Earlier this year, news emerged of Muigai wa Njoroge’s separation from his first wife, Njeri, after a marriage spanning over a decade and a half.

Similarly, Samidoh’s first wife, Edday Nderitu, announced the end of their more than ten-year marriage last year when she relocated to the United States.
