Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya caused a stir in the media while giving an interview on Friday where he talked about a myriad of issues.
Salasya also talked about his prospects of marrying, revealing the type of woman he wants to settle down with.
The first time MP said he wanted to marry a Caucasian woman.
“Mimi nataka bibi mzungu,” Salasya said during an interview with Willis Raburu.
Salasya also shared his political journey and why he feels that he is one of the MPs far who have so achieved something.
According to Peter Salasya, becoming an MP was not an easy journey. This is because when he remembers the first time he participated in the election in 2017, he was the last with 254 votes from his constituency.
The Mumias East MP further revealed the reason why he does not use his Toyota Landcruiser V8 these days.
According to Salasya, he does not drive his car because of the cost of petrol.
He said that his car uses more fuel compared to other cars. And when the price of petrol went up, he decided to park his car because now he was buying double the fuel.
