Mumias East lawmaker Peter Salasya has kept ranting on social media after he failed to be listed among the top 20 performing MPs in the country.
Salasya five castigated the survey that was conducted by Politrack Africa which he claims was sponsored by Embakasi East MP Babu Owino.
Babu Owino emerged second in the survey after scoring 72.1 per cent.
The survey ranked Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro as the top performing parliamentarian with 73.7 per cent, while Patrick Makau (Machakos) came in third with 70.6 per cent.
“Nimeleta shida kwa ground on performance Babu Owino hadi wakaamua kukununua politrack to rank them highly …..my focus on development remains key agenda both on scholarships, bursary ,education ,road network and sports …and Kenyans can see….and the silly people doesnt understand sports is part of mp work….wajaluo wanasifu wanasifu mjaluo wao na tuluhya tunakashifu mimi very silly idiots,” Salasya wrote on Facebook.
“Mimi niko tu na hao….I will not allow Babu Owino and his group to intimidate future young leaders like me through corrupting an opinion company ….let them show Kenyans what they have done that I haven’t done for the last 8month.wanataka kufinya their fellow young men who are doing fine with local politics and national politics and luhyas must stand with their own young promising leaders and its now,” he added.
Salasya has been trading insults with Babu on social media over the results of the survey. In a series of posts, the first-term MP has now said he will push for the removal of Babu as the secretary general of the Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association for insulting him.

“From next week Babu Owino will cease to be our secretary General of young parliamentarians KYPA …..Babu can’t steal from us leaders and expect to continue leading us .He has called me villager and a mad man but him he is just a normal thief,” he wrote.
