Roshanara Ebrahim was stripped off her title as Miss World Kenya back in 2016 after there was a breach of conduct and contract after some crucial personal life got leaked online. She was thereafter replaced by Evelyn Njambi as Miss World Kenya 2016.
Through it all, Roshanara Ebrahim didn’t let that define her, she dusted herself up, she didn’t relent at all, she tried again to contest the same position back in 2018 but failed to make it to the top 20 in the same year. This is the second time she contested for the Miss Universe Kenya pageant.
Reminiscing back as she was crowned on Saturday at a hush hush event held at Havilah Cornerstone Ranch in Ruaka where she beat 10 other finalists, Roshanara Ebrahim confessed that becoming the next Miss Universe Kenya once again has been a wonderful journey indeed, one that she will not forget.
She disclosed that she didn’t make it through to the top 20 despite sending her audition that she shot in 2018 on her birthday. she never lost hope though.
Ebrahim went on to thank the entire fraternity of Miss Universe Kenya for giving her an opportunity to represent her country at the 70th global Miss Universe in December in Israel.

Through a short clip that was shared officially on social media by Miss Universe Kenya, Roshanara Ebrahim who is an Author of her book titled ‘Beyond The Darkness’ says that she has intentions of spreading positivity through her passion for humanity.
“My name is Roshanara Ebrahim and the most unique thing about me is my linguistic eloquence, my intention to spread positivity everywhere I go and my deep and intimate love for humanity”, she said in the aforementioned clip.

Roshanara who is optimistic about becoming the Miss Universe says that she intends to spread positive change everywhere making women understand that they have a voice to exercise the full potential of their own passions and inspirations.
“When I win the global pageant, I will uplift and empower my sisters, the ones we have been on this journey with, and together as a team we will inspire women in leadership and take up space in the digital era.
I hope to be a global ambassador to the causes close to my heart and leave this world better than I found it. This is my legacy as Miss Universe”, she concluded.
