The news of Riky Rick who was also a fashionista passing away is still a shock to you as it is to us because he had a beautiful, prosperous future right in front of him.
Details of his untimely death are reported to be suicide. He allegedly took his own life at his estate home in Johannesburg on Wednesday morning.
Unidentified sources who spoke exclusively to Sunday World who reported Riky Rick’s death as suicide alleged that Riky Rick hung himself with a rope after suffering from severe depression.
A source alleged that the award-winning hip hop artiste whose real name is Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado was found hanging by the neck by his management team at his house at about 8.30am on Wednesday. They rushed him to the nearby hospital as he was still alive.
Riky Rick sadly passed away en route to the hospital.
“Unfortunately he died when they were en route to the hospital,” the source who sought anonymity said.
Riky Rick sent his last tweet on February 23 promising to come back a stronger man in his motherland South Africa.

Social media instantly became worried over his tweet and started to look for him via social media believing that he was pulling a prank on his fans or he was in a way promoting his upcoming project. As it turns out, he was telling everybody his final goodbyes.
Riky Rick was 34 years old by the time of his passing. He is the second celebrity in Mzansi to have died by suicide this year. Veteran, revered actor Patrick Shai was found dead in the garage of his home in January.
Riky Rick is the founder and owner of the record label Cotton Club Records. He was also the brainchild and owner of the Cotton Fest. Riky Rick who was an accomplished fashionista, trendsetter, artiste, businessman will also be remembered for his big heart.

The rapper who is known by several names such as Boss Zonke, Master Makhado, Minister of Energy, and King Kotini was married to the love of his life Bianca Naidoo.
Riky Rick who is/was an earnest family man who loved his wife and children to the moon and back was raised by his maternal grandmother because he did not get the chance to grow up with the love of his parents who divorced when he was a baby.
After his parents’ separation, his dad moved to Johannesburg while his mother enhanced her studies where she studied in the UK and in South Africa to qualify to become an Advocate.
What comes as a surprise, prior to his untimely death that has robbed Africa one of the best multi-talented music artiste and a fashion icon, Riky Rick had announced a partnership deal with an African bank and even shared a video of his partnership deal with the bank.
