Taylor Swift has surpassed Madonna and Beyonce to become the second richest self-made musician in the world just after Rihanna.

Swift has an estimated net worth of $740 million/Ksh102 billion according to a list Forbes published Thursday, June 1, 2023.

The 33-year-old “Karma” singer surpassed Madonna, who has a net worth of $580 million/Ksh80 billion as well as Beyoncé whose net worth is estimated to be $540 million/Ksh74.9 billion.

Swift is ranked at position 34 overall on the “America’s Richest Self-Made Women” list, with wealthy companies, including No. 13 Oprah Winfrey ($2.5 billion/Ksh347 billion), and No. 1 Diane Hendricks ($15 billion/Ksh2 trillion) of ABC Supply, the largest wholesale distributor of roofing materials in the US.

Rihanna, who is a billionaire majorly because of her Fenty Beauty makeup company, takes the top music spot on the “Richest Self-Made Women” list with an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion/Ksh194 billion — neatly doubling Taylor Swift’s figure.

The 35-year-old singer is listed as No. 20 overall on the “America’s Self-Made Women” list.
