Kenyan artiste, and executive producer, Richy Haniel has dropped his highly anticipated single dubbed ‘Wamocho’ featuring the Sheng masters in the music industry, Mbogi Genje and the ever consistent and versatile, Mejja’.
Wamocho, which means drinking and partying or hustling hard is a fusion of Kapuka and dancehall made for a unique, party-starting track.
Mbogi Genje brought their sheng signature style on the record while Mejja spiced things up with his catchy and witty rhymes.
Richy Haniel said the song was first recorded in July 2020 after meeting Mbogi Genje in the studio. He then invited Mejja who as usual, brought his magic with him.
The song, ‘Wamocho’ as produced by Solinga and SQ Byron and Mastered by Sadafa is the first release from Richy Haniel’s upcoming, anticipated album dubbed ‘Rich Secrets’.
“It was a good experience I invited Mejja and Mbogi Genje to studio made the song and after a week we held a house which doubled as music video shoot” Richy Haniel opened up to Biggest Kaka the experience of working with Mejja and Mbogi Genje on the hit record.
Richy Haniel hosted a house party that doubled as a music video shoot, the video was shot and directed by The Raww Film Maker.
