Rekles proves he’s one of the best rappers in Kenya with ‘Geezer’

Rekles has made a name for himself as one of the pioneers of the new genre in the country officially dubbed ‘Gengetone’ under the Gengetone group, Ethic.

He is known in the group for singing catchy hooks that have made the group prosper tremendously in the music scene amassing fans along the way.

Rekles who has even worked with Khaligraph Jones who has cosigned him on numerous occasions has released a new song dubbed ‘Geezer’ and everybody who believes in good music appreciates it.

His recent song got Khaligraph Jones cosigning it just the way the OG cosigned Zzero Sufuri’s ‘Zimenishika’ record which turned out to be a hit song going hard till this day.

Rekles has proved that he is a bonafide rapper and a versatile one at that being that he can easily rap and flip the switch whenever he wants to and do a Gengetone song.

The ‘Geezer’ song by Rekles which samples American rapper 55Quan’s ‘Rick and Morty’ song is one of a kind song that helps put Rekles among the serious rap artistes in Kenya today.

Some fans argue that Rekles’ ‘Geezer’ song goes harder than 55Quan’s ‘Rick and Morty’ song.

Rekles now has 6 records he has released so far as a solo artiste featuring Zilla, Seska, Shugharhee, and Tevvy along he way. His first solo record was ‘Ghost Ya Amin Dada’ released two years ago.
