Redsan drops his first legit hip hop record ‘Uki Catch We Catch’

Redsan is rapping now, interesting times indeed!

Could this be an Octopizzo or a Khaligraph Jones effect on him? well, he has disclosed what made him rap in a record entirely for the very first time after a long time but it’s safe to say there were some influences from someone and/or somewhere that made him go all out on the record.

Redsan released his ‘Uki Catch We Catch’ song and after giving it a thorough listening, he’s not taking any prisoners at all, he’s going for the rap throne after being on top of the Kenyan dancehall scene for years on end.

The celebrated undisputed Kenyan king of dancehall probably thought it was about time, a wise power move and rather a challenging feat to delve into the super competitive industry of hip hop and rap where he’s already made his first step by releasing his first rap song where he also raps in Swahili/Sheng.

2022 is full of surprises and Redsan is starting the year with a bang that nobody saw coming at all.

Who would’ve thought the King of Dancehall in Kenya in his own right would jump on a song and rap and to add icing to the cake, who would’ve thought that he would rap in Sheng, who? clearly not me.

It’s sad and unfortunate that YouTube removed the official music video for the ‘Uki Catch We Catch’ from their platform leaving alone the censored audio version of the same track.

You can stream the audio of the record below;

I am a Pan-Afrikanist to the core and love to let the world know what they are missing in Africa. I might do that through music and some interesting posts from time to time so please bare with me.

I will always be real though, that's a guarantee.
