Motif who is one of the most sought after record producers in the country had an awesome 2019 and clearly, numbers don’t lie.
The record producer who has proven with a couple of hit records produced exclusively by him that he is indeed a versatile record producer who can work with any artiste put in front of him.
Around the grapevine, people are saying that Masauti’s success attributes to Motif’s sick beats that he has laid down for him, being that he produced the ‘Kiboko’ record that helped to put Masauti on the map, not many people can argue with what the streets are saying of Motif Di Don being a hitmaker and an artiste maker.
In the previous year, Motif got to work with Khaligraph Jones, of course, Masauti, Willy Paul, Nadia Mukami, Ethic on numerous hit records which were both trending at number 1 on YouTube for weeks after they got dropped officially.
2019 was indeed a busy year for Motif Di Don who also got to work with Nigerian hitmaker Skales who worked with Kenyan artiste, Masauti.
Motif Di Don, Khaligraph Jones, and Masauti are musically inseparable and if the music they put out is something to go by, you wouldn’t blame the triple threats music geniuses always keeping close to one another.
Taking to social media, Motif proved yet again that he is the best at what he does and should be regarded as one of the best record producers Kenya has ever seen thus far after producing over ten hit records in the last year alone in different genres.
Remember Motif also has had numerous hits under his name in the past year which makes him a consistent record producer who always comes up with new catchy beats that will make both himself and artistes he works with shine in musical glory.
The record producer who is regarded to be one of the best and few hip hop record producers Kenya has ever seen made a list of the hit records he produced last year and yes, he had the most number-one trending songs in the country last year.
“One good year can change your whole life, I had the most number 1 trending songs, I’m just getting started, let’s make more hits next year,” Motif Di Don wrote on Instagram.
Motif Di Don so far produced; Masauti’s ‘Sokote’, ‘Ipepete’, ‘Kiboko Remix’, Ethic’s ‘Chapa Chapa’, ‘Tarimbo’, ‘Figa’, ‘Pandana’, Khaligraph Jones’ ‘Superman’ (which the rapper shot the music video to in Dallas, Texas), ‘Khali Cartel 3’, ‘Me Siogopi’, Nadia Mukami’s ‘Lola’, Willy Paul’s ‘Bure Kabisa’, Riot and Kartelo’s ‘Low Libido’, among many others.
With the year just starting, we can’t wait but wait how many hit records Motif will produce within the year.
