Rayvanny has finally released her debut studio project dubbed ‘Sound from Africa’ under his record label and management company, WCB, and the world is here for it.

Rayvanny who is the most talented artiste signed under the WCB artiste –at least according to Babu Tale– and the only East African BET Award-winning musician has released his highly anticipated studio album that has stellar features from the best of the best artistes Africa has to offer.

The 23-track debut studio album has features from Diamond Platnumz, Mbosso, Jux, Jah Prayzah, Innoss’B, Frenna, Enisa, Zlatan Ibile, GIMS, I mean Rayvanny got the one and only Gims on a track in his debut studio album! that’s huge.

Gims hasn’t released any record with any mentionable artistes from Africa, not even with Wizkid, Davido, Diamond Platnumz, Burna Boy but he got to get featured on a Rayvanny album.

This album is actually one of the biggest studio albums in Africa today, hands down.

Gims has worked with Sting, Lil Wayne, French Montana, J Balvin, just to mention a few. The Congolese-born, Morocco and France based musician is one of the biggest musicians in France today, hands down.

On the ‘Sound from Africa’ project also features Kizz Daniel, Nasty C, Vanessa Mdee, Rowlene, Messias Maricoa, Weasel, Joe Boy, Aminux, Saida Karoli, Young Lunya, and Linex.

Rayvanny opened up about how important this studio project really is and why he can’t and won’t take it for granted at all.

The ‘Mama’ hitmaker who tapped on Weasel, together with Mbosso to remake the ‘Zuena’ hit song said that it took him 4-long years to compile this body of work to his fans and how his intentions of having different celebrated, talented, and internationally acclaimed African musicians on the project came to fruition.

He had always wanted to work with the best of the best musicians from and in Africa and on the ‘Sound from Africa’ he actually succeeded in doing just that.

“I started music when I was in school but officially 2016 that’s the year when I got recognition. My dream was to have an Album that will involve different artists from different parts of the world.” Rayvanny said in part.

The Wasafi Classic Baby(WCB) signed artiste went on to add how ‘Sound from Africa’ is a dream come true to him since his ultimate goal is to take the African sound and African culture to the rest of the world in unprecedented fashion.

He added that’s one of the reason/s why he featured different artistes from Africa on the project.

“Since I was new in the game it took me 4 years to prepare this Album and today it’s like My dream come true.

My focus, My Vision, My Goal is to take African Sound, African Culture to the world. That’s why I decided to have different artist, different sounds to reach different people from different part of the world.

Everything is possible if you decide. Am from Africa, Am proud to be African, and this is Sound From Africa” he added.

Last year Rayvanny released his ‘Flowers’ EP that was gracefully welcomed by fans all over and critically acclaimed but nobody expected an impressive body of work like ‘Sound from Africa’ that he recently released to be well-curated and star-studded as it is.
